Things I've done

* Worked on Bazaar 1.x, which was branched of GnuArch. I put a solid six months of work into it before the company that I work for decided to start over fresh on Bazaar-NG. I also wrote a number of documents for this tool.

* Spent quite a bit of time hacking on GnuArch. The project these days is essentially DOA, though the people associated with it these days don't realize it.

* Wrote RandCD which is (was?) a tool to build cds of random music from large mp3 archives. This is particularly useful for car mp3cd players.

* Led freeciv development for approximately six months back in the late 90s

* I wrote a couple patches for Toshiba laptops that eventually made their way into the Linux kernel. I've since moved to vaios, which don't work well on Ubuntu.

* Worked at Insync Media Inc. during early 2000. This company primarily printed movie posters. They tried for a while to move from printed media to online media but didn't charge enough to make it worthwhile. This company was where I learned to deal with busy web sites -- Thomas and the Magic Railroad averaged millions of hits a month. I also worked quite a bit with intershop. I also learned a massive amount about encouraging people from one of the most outstanding managers that I've ever met, John Brahy.
